Puree Patisson [Patison]

Today we will give patisson a try 🙂

Yummy and sweet vegetable that babies will love. Patisson is a vegetable that has a lot of pesticides, so I strongly advise to soak before peeling. There are different ways to cook this vegetable. Here I will illustrate the steaming version as it stays the easiest way for me as you do not need to monitor the cooking.

You can also put them in a tempo/pressure cooker, cook it on stove with some water.

  1. Soak patisson and wash them thoroughly.
  2. Peel and cut them in small pieces
  3. Steam for 15 minutes
  4. Steaming done!
  5. Now blending time with water (you can use the steam water / mineral water / boiled water). Also add some fats, here I used olive butter to give it a richer texture.
