Greeny puree – Calebasse & Green beans

Mummies, here is a super simple puree I did today for my baby. I called it the greeny puree.

My mother in law cleaned some green beans while I was visiting so I took some to combine with calebasse that I already had at home. The puree was very green and also tasted very good for baby. My husband hates calebasse so whenever I do this puree for my baby, I keep some that I cook in some oil after steaming and eat it with roasted chicken /meat as a side dish. It can easierĀ  replace mash potatoes.

Instructions
  1. Prepare your vegetables by soaking the calebasse for 1-2 hours. I usually leave mine overnight as I took them in the morning before going to work.
  2. Cut the vegetables in an easy and fast way for steaming.
  3. Blend it all to the consistency that you prefer.
