Breadfruit is also known as the potato tree because it is very similar to potato consistency when cooked. Except breadfruit has higher-quality protein and packs a healthy dose of vitamins and minerals. It is as easy as potato mash to do, you have to boil the breadfruit. In Mauritius, we are used to have this with “chatini cotomili with plenty of chilli”. Therefore if you are doing it for yourself, please think of keeping some for your little one.
Today we will have fried fish with breadfruit mash… baby or toddler will be super happy!
