Fricassé de chouchou (chayotte ou christophine)

  1. Cut the chayote in slices after washing properly.
  2. Prepare thyme, chopped onion and ginger/garlic paste.
  3. In a pan put some oil, add onion and the thyme. Add the sliced chayote and stir.
  4. Add the ginger/garlic paste. Cook on slow flame till cooked.
  5. READY! Can be served with some white rice.
