Sindhi Kadhi [Vegetables cooked in Pulses]

  1. Prepare all your ingredients: toor dal, green beans, carrot and potato.
  2. Cut the vegetables in small pieces.
  3. Pressure cook the dal with sufficient water, together with the tumeric.
  4. Once the dal is cooked, let cool and strain through a colander to get a smooth texture.
  5. The mixture should look like this. Put back the dal in the pressure cooker without the lid.
  6. Add the vegetables and the piece of ginger.
  7. Cook on low flame for about 15-20 minutes.
  8. Add some water if needed depending on the consistency that you prefer.
  9. Blend it all for babies or you can serve with the soft vegetables to toddlers.
  10. READY! Absolutely yummy and healthy dish.
