Let’s try to give snake gourd to baby. Since I am a kid, it’s far from being a vegetable that I like therefore I was hesitating before giving it to my baby. Then I stay convinced that it is important to make kids try every vegetable (of course allowed at his age) so that they get all the different nutrients.

Benefits of Snake Gourd:

As patole is very bitter, we will here mix it with carrot and some spinach from the garden. Try only a small piece so that your kid gets used to the taste.

  1. Wash the patole, spinach and carrot. Peel the carrot
  2. Cut the patole and the carrot in small pieces
  3. Steam all ingredients for 15-20 minutes. Carrots normally take a little more time than other vegetables.
  4. Blend it all and made delicious small pots for babies

P.s Be careful not to put a lot of patole in the mixture. It will be a complete waste if baby doesn't eat.
