Beetroot has a very earthy taste and not all babies will like it. Therefore it is recommended to add it together with another vegetable that your baby has already eaten such as – carrot, sweet potato.
The colour is super attractive for kids but the taste is not always to the expectation when taken plain.

In this recipe, I cooked the beetroot and froze them. Easier to mix with other vegetables whenever I have to.

Instructions
- Peel and wash the beetroot. Slice them in small pieces for cooking.
- Steam the vegetable for 20 minutes
- Blend it with the steam water.
- Here I have mixed the beetroot and carrot that I had kept in the freezer.
