Mini Omelette for kids

By V

This recipe is another of my easy-peasy ones…the one that saves life when coming back late from work.

Ideal also for led-weaning babies (when your baby starts eating by himself). For this recipe i used the freezing tray I have for freezing baby’s food but you can also do it in a pan. I think next time I will do on a pan as it saves time. Baking always take a longer time; around 10-15 minutes compared to pan cooking that can less than 5 minutes depending on the size of the omelette.

Let’s see the step by step:

Instructions
  1. Prepare all your ingredients.
  2. Grate the carrot finely, chop the onion and parsley in small pieces. Add the cumin powder and mix all these ingredients together.
  3. Put the mixture in a baby baking tray or just cook in a pan like normal omelettes. Bake for 180degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Unmould the mini omelettes. Ready to eat
Recipe Notes

Always consult your pediatrician before giving new ingredient to your baby.

It is very fun if you can get the shapes (cookie cutter) to make the omelette appealing to kids.
